I usually share documentary-style images for this monthly blog circle, but this time I’m giving you something a little different. It’s been an age since I’ve done any photography education, but with some gentle encouragement from a dear friend, this week I signed up to a new course. It’s already proved to be just the change of focus I need and I feel freshly enthusiastic and renewed.
One of the first exercises assigned (and I’d encourage all photographers to try this periodically) was to take a single item and create 10 different images in 10 minutes. Now, I’ll admit, these did take me more than 10 minutes (nearer to 30+10), but that was largely because 5 minutes in I started making my egg a party hat!
Have you ever tried a 10 in 10? I’d love to see you images if you have. And if you haven’t, why not give it a go??!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed seeing a little piece of our world. Up next in the blog circle is the incredible Jenn of Blueberry Hill Images. Please click here to visit Jenn’s blog.
Until next time, stay safe,
~Ceri
Wow! What you did with a single egg!! So creative! The fifth image down is my favorite!
These are fabulous, Ceri, so creative! What a brilliant idea!
What a great idea Ceri. I love what you captured with your egg. Definitely an idea worth trying. I really love the the grass image
Wow! Great exercise! I love these – especially the double exposures… and of corse the party hat! May I ask which workshop this is? Looks like one I need 😊 Thank you.
Hey there, thanks so much! The course is through Click Photo School and is called Creative Approach. It’s fantastic! I don’t think it is open for registration right now, but you can find more details here.
